Dr. Gutreiman graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in México in 1979. He completed his residency in internal medicine at San Juan de Dios Hospital in Costa Rica.

He also completed a continuing medical education course through the George Wise Externship Program in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Gutreiman’s private practice is dedicated to general internal medicine, and he is a member of the Academic Council of the School of Medicine in the “Universidad Autonoma de Centro America” as well as the Foundation of the Metabolic Control Group at the Heredia Hospital.
