Blue Route 5 – Quechan Shuttle

Residents of Yuma need not drive in their own cars to avail of quality and affordable dental work in the Mexican border city.

In October 2013, the Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT) commenced the Blue Route 5 service, the first public transport system connecting the Arizonian town to the Andrade Port of Entry.

Route and Schedule

There is a bus leaving Paradise Casino every hour, starting from 7:15 am till 6:15 pm. The following is the schedule of the first bus that leaves at 7:15 am.

Please note that Algodones, Baja California, is the closest to the Quechan Casino Resort. The bus stop is just a 1.5-mile walk from the Mexican border town.

Another option open to Americans considering road travel to the Mexican border town is taking a bus to Mexicali. Mexicali is another major border city located just 45 miles from Algodones. The two border towns are well connected with buses running on an hourly-basis.
